Everyone has to see a dentist at times. A person?s set of teeth is important in various ways. They may cause unbearable pain if gone wrong, or could win a lot of hearts if set rightly producing a beautiful smile. It is the job of the dentists to restore teeth and provide preventive care for general dental health. They diagnose and treat disease, pain, injury, or deformity of the oral and maxillofacial area including problems connected with the teeth, gums and jaw.

Qualified dentists can provide a large variety of services. In addition to the familiar teeth cleanings, braces and retainers, there are now new innovations that make your teeth look whiter and healthier than they ever were before.

In New York, there are so many options open to you. Here you will find expert and professional cosmetic, restorative, implant, pediatric, and reconstructive dentists ready to look after your problems. Those not having much to spend can access the oral health care community service or take the help of various dental plans in operation. The New York College of Dentistry provides free treatment to many who are unable to pay, have no insurance or are ineligible for Medicaid.

For a New Yorker, more so for someone living in the sprawling urban domain of the city, finding a suitable dentist might be a daunting task. One must weigh the options very carefully while looking for a reliable, qualified dentist. The New York State Dental Association is a constituent of the American Dental Association representing more than 13,000 dentists in New York. The association can guide you to helpful dentists, be it in the domain of cosmetic, implant, restorative, pediatric or reconstructive dentistry.

So get rid of your toothache, don?t shy away from showing your well-set extra-white teeth and smile broadly. New York will make all this possible for you.

Visitors to New York are often overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the big city, and face a multiplicity of dilemmas as to where to maximise their time. However, regardless of whether you choose to spend your visit to New York marvelling the sights atop the Empire State Building or indulging in the glamour and romance of Broadway, you'll certainly need to find time to relax and enjoy New York's more calming sights. This is part of the reason that Central Park is so popular with both residents and visitors: its 843 acres (or 3.41 km sq) offer space for solitude and landscape appreciation, a haven from the hectic atmosphere of the city centre.

Tourists to New York might be surprised to find out that, while Central Park looks entirely natural, it's actually almost completely landscaped - a testament to the architectural prowess of its designers, Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux. The park itself is home to several artificial lakes, various extensive tracks for avid walkers to enjoy, a wildlife sanctuary and numerous vast areas of grass which can be used for sporting pursuits. The park space is particularly popular after 7pm every evening, when automobile traffic is banned and the park is flooded with cyclists, joggers and roller skaters. Furthermore, Central Park is a haven for birdwatchers in New York, as it attracts many migratory birds, as well as local East Coast bird life.

The history of Central Park is also especially interesting. In fact, the plans for the park reach as far back as 1811. Between 1820 and 1850, the population of New York City quadrupled, and people flocked to open spaces in order to get away from the chaotic nature of city life. Andrew Jackson Downing, the USA's first landscape architect, first began to popularise the idea of a park for New York City in 1844, one that was similar to London's Hyde Park or the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The State eventually appointed a Central Park Commission to oversee the park's development, and in 1857 held a landscape design contest in order to find the best design for the scheme. The eventual winners, Olmstead and Vaux have since gone down in history as the designers of one of the world's most famous parks.

If you're interested in enjoying a relaxing break in New York and absorbing as much of Central Park's atmosphere as possible, why not choose to stay in one of the many luxury hotels in Manhattan? You'll be able to indulge in the sights and sounds of one of the most spectacular urban parks in America without ever having to leave the big city.

As a long-time resident of Las Vegas, I'm never amazed when people ask me whether or not there are actual homes here. For many, Las Vegas is nothing but casinos. The Las Vegas Strip spans just a couple miles of the city, but many who have never been here think that's all there is.

There are entertainment and sights off the strip, but today I will run down some basic Las Vegas information. The main tourist area is divided into two parts. The first part is called “Downtown Las Vegas” and it was where the glitter used to be. I still remember when you could drive your vehicle through where the Fremont Street Experience is today. It was a sight to behold.

In downtown Las Vegas, you'll find classic casinos such as the Plaza, the Golden Nugget, Binions Horseshoe, the Fremont, and others. For gambling, I like Binions. It's still a place that feels like a gambler's casino.

The other section, which is more commonly known, is the Las Vegas Strip. Corporate entertainment at its finest?as I like to say. You could say that this is the themed part of Las Vegas. On the Las Vegas Strip there's Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, New York New York, Excalibur, Venetian, Bellagio and a slew of other themed casinos.

As of this writing, the famous Stardust has just closed down and will be imploded in 2007. Today, Vegas' motto is out with the old and in with the new. There's only so much space to build upon and Las Vegas is beginning to go vertical?lots of high-rise condos being built.

If you are looking for a friendlier atmosphere, lower table limits and don't mind a lack of top shows, downtown Las Vegas will be a place you might like. There's entertainment there, but you won't find the top shows like Blue Man Group.

The Las Vegas Strip has casinos that are the top of the line, but it has more of an assembly line feel. If you want to be awed, take a stroll down the Las Vegas Strip at night. Start around 6 p.m. or so and you'll see pirate shows, erupting volcanoes, water fountain shows and more?plus it's all free.

It&amp#8217s hard to find a justification for these prices but my guess is its central location and possibly chain ownership. The Oakwood hotel however does offer a bit of character with a lot of wood fittings and a lift so old-school it could possibly draw a pension.

The same chain runs other hotels in Kenya and Uganda and also operates balloon safaris in the Masai Mara. Prices here are Usd 60/75/85 for s/d/tr hotel room accommodation.
